It constitutes an unprecedented leverage for development of this sector in
For many years the two organizations have worked side by side providing services benefitting French companies in the sector of planning and development of mountain areas. Cluster CIM brought together different players in the sector to support companies in various aspects of their development (performance, training, innovation, international), while FNI was in charge of promotion abroad of French know-how.
Three founding members (FNI, the Chamber of Commerce of Savoie and the AFMONT) initiated the project. The two organizations came closer, and on April 13, they merged to become Cluster Montagne. This new association, which has seven employees, is now based in Alpespace, a business park dedicated to the mountains and the outdoor market, in the heart of the French Alps. It is chaired by:
- Xavier Gallot-Lavallée, Industrialist, Executive Chairman (former Chairman of Cluster CIM)
